GLENDALE HOMEOWERS COORDINATING COUNCIL

(3 minutes closing)

On the back table you will find 15 pages showing over 700 city employees, with salaries from $100,000 to over $200,000 a year.
At age 50 or 55, with 30 years of service, they will be receiving 75% or 90% of that money...FOR LIFE.

Our two incumbents continue solving pension reform through Band-Aid fixes in dealing with our city unions wages and pensions. Councilwoman Freidman and Councilman Najarian are both recipients of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from their union bosses and major developers.

After receiving thousands of dollars in campaign money from our unions, our council members have continued to be their protectors and servants.

Our continued water and electric rate increases and the illegal transfer of millions of dollars from the GWP SURPLUS FUND has been and will continue to be used by our incumbent candidates for  paying the first obligations of government…Salaries and Pensions.

Additionally, our two incumbents were recipients of thousands of dollars in campaign money from the corrupt public housing company, ADI, and their sub-contractors and then approved over $30 million in contracts.

The 2011 scandal of former councilman John Drayman and his condo make-over by  ADI sub-contractors, without building permits, was never publicly investigated by our two incumbents… why do the two incumbents continue to remain silent and protect John Drayman today.

My fellow Glendalians...

If you want to have your water rates increased, please vote for the incumbents.

If you want to have your electrical rates increased, please vote for the incumbents.

If you want the GWP to be raided by the city unions and their surrogates, Friedman and Najarian, please vote for the incumbents.

If you want continued congestion and grid lock in downtown, please vote for the incumbents.

If you want our UNIONS and MAJOR DEVELOPERS to continue running our city, please vote for the incumbents.

Of course, I would like your vote, but for the good of Glendale, I urge you to vote for any non-incumbents.
The incumbents are not here for you….they are here first for THEMSELVES and the unions and major land developers that support them.

We cannot EXPECT the ones that created the PROBLEMS to FIX the PROBLEMS. We need to send a CLEAR MESSAGE TONIGHT, BUSINESS AS USUAL IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Mike Mohill Candidate for Glendale City Council 2013.
